Can i get a sample mastering?Of course. Just send us a track of your choice. We will master it and send you a sample of the finished master, so you can listen to it on different playback devices. What can we do if i'm not completely satisfied with the sound?Describe in detail what you dont like about the sound and what you would like to be changed. We will work on a new version which will certainly suit your taste. There will be no additional charges. Satisfied customers are vitally important. How can i give you an understanding of my idea of the sound?It is an advantage if you send along a reference track of a commercially succesful artist, which reflects your idea of the sound. In addition to this it is helpful for mixing process if you describe your idea of the sound as detailed as possible and send it along as a Text- or PDF document. How can i send you my data?
Online Mixing has set up a dedicated FTP access, via which you can upload your files directly to our servers.The individual access codes will be available on request. Alternatively, you can post your files on any storage medium like DVDs or external hard drives as well. Data Delivery for Film and MediaFor Film and Media Productions please send us an OMF file with the individual tracks as well as the video in Quicktime format.
Data Delivery for Music• For Music Productions please deliver the individual audio tracks. When Exporting:• Deactivate all plugins/effects, unless you want the effect to be permanent. • Make sure the sample rate is 44100 Hz or higher. • The bitrate should be 24 or 32 bit (if supported by your software). • Do not dither! • Set all faders to 0db and turn all panning to centre Data Delivery for MasteringNECESSARY INFORMATION / PROCEDURES • Catalogue Number Mastering - FAQ• The files have to be in either WAV or AIFF format (stereo interleaved files) When exporting:• Samplerate: 44.1kHz for CD-Redbook, 48 or 96 kHz for DVD-Audio or -Video • The bitrate should be 24 or 32 bit (if supported by your software) • Do not dither! • Avoid any fades - please specifiy any desired fades in written form • Avoid any fnalizers, maximizers or limiters (except gentle peak limiting) • The delivery of reference material would be of great help to us |
